In the 2009-2010 school year, MHS added the Freshman Wing on the northeast corner of the school. This new facility was complete with 4 state of the art computer labs, a lecture hall to accommodate community events and a fully functioning cafeteria. In addition, PNN moved to new technology accommodations inside the wing. A complete media center, administration office, teacher resource room and security office compliment the content of the new building. To ensure freshmen are afforded every chance to successfully graduate and know what opportunities are available to them after high school, two dedicated guidance counselors are also resident in the wing.
